FDA is an agency within the Department of Health and Human Services of the U.S. Government.

  1. Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD)

Created specifically for standard GSM devices, USSD messages are transferred directly over network signalling channels. USSD is free, simple, inexpensive and accessible. With interactive navigation, USSD is fast and allows for mass usage. However, messages cannot be saved or forwarded, the codes may be difficult to remember, and usage is not always reliable due to session-based timeouts.

  1. Usability

Usability is the extent to which products such as software and Web applications can be used by a specified group of users to achieve specified goals effectively and efficiently.

  1. Use case

A use case describes "who" can do "what" with the system or software in question. In software and systems engineering, a use case is a list of step defining interactions between a role (or "actor") and a system, to achieve a goal. The actor can be a human or an external system.

  1. User site testing

Terms such as beta test, site validation, user acceptance test, installation verification, and installation testing have all been used to describe user site testing. The term "user site testing" encompasses all of these and any other testing that takes place outside of the developer's controlled environment. This testing should take place at a user's site with the actual hardware and software that will be part of the installed system configuration. The testing is accomplished through either actual or simulated use of the software being tested within the context in which it is intended to function.
