AlzNav is designed both for elderly people and people in the initial stages of dementia, including Alzheimer’s patients, and their caregivers. The app aims to increase the user’s autonomy when leaving home by providing a number of facilities, including a navigator which guides the user home or sending alerts to the caregiver when the user is lost or leaves the safety area.
